I never imagined that a small, impulsive purchase would change my life. But in my darkest moments, creating became my way back to myself. Here’s why I started L Gann Designs: ☀️ For nearly 20 years, I dedicated myself to my family, always putting others first. When my children started moving on with their own lives, I felt lost. Who was I beyond being a mother and caregiver? ☀️ Depression hit me hard, and I didn’t know how to pull myself out of it. One day, while aimlessly scrolling online, I came across a polymer clay starter kit. I had no idea it would become my lifeline. ☀️ Jewelry-making became my escape and, eventually, my healing. Working with my hands, shaping something beautiful from nothing—it was the first time in years I felt like me again. ☀️ I realized that doing something for myself didn’t make me less of a mom—it made me a better one.
