I crossed the border into Canada today to start my driving journey to Alaska for my summer job! I’ve done this drive before in worse conditions, in the middle of January if you can believe that. 😂😐 Still kinda shocked the Army let me do that. This drive will hopefully be a lot smoother, although towing a 6k trailer will add its own challenges. The entire interaction with Canadian border patrol at the Sumas, WA border crossing took less than 3 minutes. I kinda wish he had cracked a smile at some point and found some of the questions odd but it was easy peasy! A commercial truck carrying over 30,000 kilograms of honeybee hives rolled over around 4 a.m. local time on Friday near Lynden, Wash., just south of Abbotsford, and millions of bees were accidentally released.
