Spa day vibes for this gentle giant 🐢😄 Our Galapagos tortoise is soaking up the love — and he’s earned every bit of it! You’ve heard the saying 'respect your elders'... well, this legend takes that to a whole new level!🙌🥰
Darth had other plans😳 One minute he's being fed next minute he's out of the enclosure on the ground like he owns the place😤 Despite the unexpected landing, the feeding goes on🙌 Alligators eat from the side of their mouth, which gives them that sideways chomp that somehow looks even more intense when they're loose😅 The real challenge? Getting him back in safely... And without causing more chaos.😮
Baby Black Dragons🤩 These guys are a little bit shy at the moment but this is how we develop a good relationship with these animals🥰 In all fairness in the wild there’s no such thing as a free meal😅 They’re probably thinking that this is too good to be true😂
There’s absolutely never a DULL moment with these little ones😆😂! Who doesn’t love baby water monitors 🥰! Did you guys know there’s over 70 species of monitors in the world 🌍😅… But some of my personal favorites are the Asian Water Monitors 🐉 🦎They seem to have the most amazing personalities and get incredibly big considering they’re the 3rd largest species 💪😎🤩
Caiman looked like dinosaurs! Caiman alligators, and crocodiles all actually come from the Crocodile and Family, but these guys look the most Prehistoric! They have a very distinct looking snout and they have shorter rounder snout unlike crocs with a V shaped snout and gator with a U shaped one! 🐊
27 20-FOOT PYTHONS 🐍 I am not the biggest snake person but you could definitely say they were growing on me after shooting this video😅 They were so peaceful and each one of them was is so beautiful!🤩 All it took was for me to be in a room with over 20 of them😂
The difference between an infertile egg and a fertile egg😳 You can tell the difference by the coloring of the egg and this egg will be darker and smaller then the fertile ones🙌
It’s Darth Gator’s world and we are just living in it😅 Every zoo has that one animal who thinks they’re the main character and ours is this guy🐊😈 I swear he is starting to realize it too😂
This baby tortoise may fit in my hand now, but give it time and these guys can grow 100x their size depending on the species! 🐢💪 They may be slow movers, but not slow growers😅 Some tortoises can gain several pounds a year with the right care!🥰 These little munchers can eat up to their body size daily in leafy greens, and veggies 🥬🥕
Got myself some chicken and some crocodilians😁 What else does a girl need?😅 These tow are dwarf caiman and they come from the crocodilian family just like alligators and crocodiles🙌
Do you see the frogs?😳 These are Vietnamese mossy frogs and they have some of the best Camouflage ever🙌 Such a unique and beautiful adaptation that allows these little ones to hide from their predators🤩
FALSE 🚫 WATER COBRAS aren’t true cobras at all⁉️😱Yep! They flatten their necks to mimic cobras, but they’re actually rear-fanged colubrids—mildly venomous and highly underrated. This one’s chowing down on a chicken drumstick like it’s Sunday dinner. Fun fact: They don’t hiss, they huff—kind of like me when someone touches my leftovers😅
Sometimes the best kind of care is in the little things like helping a scaly friend thro a rough shed😄🐍 Watching this beaded dragon relax as the old skin comes off is su a reminder of how healing happens in patient moments. Happy Wednesday!
Meet Jabba the pixie frog 🐸 a snack enthusiast and part time diva 💅 Today’s menu? A 5 star ⭐️ buffet of wriggly worms, personally served by his loyal human sidekick- me! 😆
Coconut and I are still working on our commands😅 I just hope she is not a repeat offender😮 Moments like these are what make this job unpredictable😁 Each animal has their own little personality and you never really know how wild they’re feeling👀 I think Coconut learned this trick from Darth but she doesn’t do it again🥲😂
Blending in, standing out 🤩just another day in the life of a Parsons chameleon.🦎😎 Did you guys know they change color not just for camouflage, but also for communication and mood. A relaxed chameleon looks very different from an excited one😅🥰!
Meet our TWO-HEADED Rat Snake! 🐍🐍 This wild-caught wonder is one of the rarest reptiles you’ll ever see and yes, both heads are real! 😱 Found in the wild and now living at our zoo, this snake is an absolute genetic marvel. Two brains, one body, and a whole lot of curiosity! You don’t come across something like this often… it’s nature at its weirdest and coolest. 🌿✨
