ever since 2021 I’ve been saving up my salary to purchase the portions needed to make a Thanksgiving meal for our guests here at the motel. This year was made extra special with a visit from a suprise regular. Backstory: Jailene made a mark on America’s Favorite Motel (and the neighborhood at large) even before I started working here. when I began documenting my own journey for the Internet, little did I know I was witnessing the highs and lows of someone else’s. after battling her own demons which led to her being sent away, Jailene has since made the kind of improvements in her life that books are written about.
