I LOVE big artwork in homes but it’s not cheap. The only way I have been able to bring oversized art into my home is by using #peelandstickwallpaper that I frame out with box molding. This is a #renterfriendly #budgetfriendly #DIY if you install it on the wall but to make it easy to move I would take the time to build a base (plywood or foam board) and frame it with molding. I just find installing it on the wall easier for me! My go to places for scalable murals is Photowall and Wall Blush! I have never used a drywall anchor to hang a picture or mirror… and I will probably make someone angry by saying that. The reality is I don’t see the need to do that when there is a much simpler solution that doesn’t require a ton of effort. Did I find an affordable fabric #peelandstickwallpaper YES!! Here is everything you need to know about it… - It’s actually very easy to install because of how forgiving this material is. It’s easier to work with than vinyl in my opinion. This is a beginner friendly #DIY - I believe this to be #renterfriendly based off my initial rip tests BUT I can’t say for sure until it’s up for a while and I remove it. It is promising though! - This is a #budgetfriendly #wallpaper because you can buy a 98”x148” mural style for $189. I only bought 2 panels so it was $84. That is soo cheap for how good this stuff is. - They do have other designs and colors but not a lot because this brand Zeeko has only been around for 6 months from what I can tell. I have compiled a list of all the designs it looks like they offer they have been added to the Amazon wallpaper section on my website! Replying to @sami_von_jami If you are like me and not a fan of mirrored closet doors you can absolutely put #peelanfstickwallpaper on them! You can have fun with this! It can easily be changed up as your style evolves. I have done patterns in the past or you can find the more realistic styles like I tried here (there is a lot of wood embossed peel and stick on the market in different styles now). The #peelandstick handles are just an added touch but not necessary. This is also a #budgetfriendly #renterfriendly #DIY so even if you don’t own your place you can do this! #homedecor #homeideas

Welcome back to brutally honest #peelandstick reviews… today is a #peelandsticktile that claims it can pretty much be put on every surface and can go in a shower. They also claim to be eco friendly… which is interesting to me considering the materials and adhesives required to create the durability they claim. I also didn’t even go down the road of anti-mold claims because that’s a pretty messy topic when talking about these being exposed to water, water potentially seeping in the foam, and what your ventilation/humidity is like. I live in AZ with high ceilings + good ventilation my risks for mold is already lower because of my personal living situation. I personally don’t think these are anything special right now and definitely not a #budgetfriendly #renterfriendly #DIY #homeproject unless you put up a barrier. I am going to be installing a tile next and testing it in my shower. As always, i will keep you updated!

My #kitchen is literally the only room in this house I put a lot of money into over the last 3 years. I had basically not touched it or done anything new in this space until that cabinet broke… seeing the dark wood tones added into the space made me want to add more richness in here so that is what we are doing!! I decided to go with a safe choice for the #kitchen island refresh and use #peelandstickwallpaper again. Why!? I have a hard time committing to permanent changes until I am sure it is something I want. If your new here am playing with the idea of bringing more wood tones into my kitchen. I was able to do that with $30 and a few hours of my time. Also, this is definitely a #renterfriendly #DIY and outside of it being #homedecor the wallpaper actually keeps my paint clean from the scuffing that happens from sitting at the barstools! This stuff is super easy to wipe clean!

Let’s try and save @RobynSchallComic deposit… I am very loud about my hatered for the foam #peelandsticktile because they are the worst! The only way I know how to get these off is with a floor scraper that has basically a razor blade edge. The sharp edge can get underneath and cut through the adhesive (hopefully). It will be a ton of work… but I really hope this works! #renterfriendly #DIY #homedecor #peelandstick

I don’t have a Lowe’s close by so I go to Home Depot) 2. Miter Box (comes with the saw for $20) 3. Flat corner L brackets (they come in packs of 4 for $3) 4. Honestly… I gave myself the nickname “lazy diy mom” because I enjoy doing #homedecor #DIY that’s not complicated. Is hanging shelves that complicated? Heck no anyone can do it. It is just one of those projects I don’t enjoy doing. Hanging those 4 shelves took me an embarrassing amount of time to do… Was hiding the TV cord and hanging the mirror super easy and only took a few minutes? Yup!!
