Getting told off within the first 5 mins of being on the farm ride 🤣 Context: I’m on the bay and my friend is on the chestnut. The rules at this farm ride are you have to pass other riders in walk, we decided to trot over this little log with the other rider ahead of us being (what we thought was) far enough ahead for it to not affect them. We didn’t canter, just trotted over the fence as a warm up, and had every intention of coming immediately back to walk before we passed her which we were already in the process of doing when this lady turned around and told us off. Her horse obviously didn’t react at all and nobody was hurt! But it clearly bothered her which we didn’t intend or expect. Side note, later on we accidentally went the wrong way by getting lost on route and a different lady corrected us very kindly and politely, so we thanked her for her help. I don’t think there’s any need for people to be rude especially when no harm done 😊
