#ad How to make the FAMOUS Thick French Hot Chocolate with my favorite @EarthsOwn Original Oat Creamer. #Partner . I’ve been seeing this incredible super thick hot chocolate all over my feed from Paris, France - and you know I had to make my own plant-based version. I have a couple of secrets up my sleeve to reach that thick consistency. 1. Use my favorite oat creamer from Earth’s Own. This is such a thick and velvety creamer and lends the perfect consistency and neutral flavor to the hot chocolate. 2. Use powdered sugar and espresso powder to lend a perfectly sweet and bold hot chocolate. . RECIPE (makes 2) 1 1/2 cups Earth’s Own Soy Unsweetened Original 1/2 cup Earth’s Own Original Oat Creamer 2 teaspoons powdered sugar 1 teaspoon espresso powder 8 ounces 70% dark chocolate . Add all ingredients to a pot. Put on a burner over medium heat, and whisk until everything is melted. Do not allow to boil or it may burn. Remove from the heat and serve with your favorite plant-based whipped cream . #EarthsOwn #oatmilk #hotchocolate
#ad #ad Homemade Scrappy Mineral Broth using my @foodsaverbrand Elite All-in-One Liquid+ . I am blown away by the power of the FoodSaver to help me reduce food waste. It locks in freshness, having your vacuum sealed meals, fruits and veggies stay fresh up to 5 times longer than ordinary storage methods (did you see that avocado)?! But that’s not all. It can marinate in minutes – not hours, vacuum seal liquids like soups and even seal bags of chips and crackers to reduce waste. . MINERAL BROTH . 1 gallon size FoodSaver bag of scraps (onions, carrots, garlic and potatoes work well) 1 teaspoon turmeric 1 teaspoon garlic powder 1 teaspoon paprika 1 teaspoon salt . Collect the scraps in a reusable FoodSaver bag, and vacuum seal up to 4 months until ready to use. . In a large stockpot combine the scraps. Add about 10 cups of water, enough that the vegetables are covered. Add the spices. . Bring to a boil, then simmer. Cover and cook for 3 hours, until the broth has a strong flavor. Once cooled, strain out the scraps, compost them, and reserve the broth. You can seal in individual liquid friendly food saver bags for easy soup making! . #Recipe #foodwaste #FoodSaverCanada
