This was one of the most special moments I’ve ever shared and experienced on stage. It was truly incredible playing “ICARUS” with Ramil, who is only 12 years old!! We had only rehearsed it a few hours before the concert during soundcheck. I’ll remember this night for a long time and I am sooooo thankful for memories like this. Sydney 🇦🇺… to everyone who came out and supported you absolutely blew my mind and emotions with your warmth and applause throughout the night 🙏🏻👏👏 To be honest I didn’t know what to expect from the Australian crowd but if night one was like this… omg!!! I can’t wait for night two in Sydney, and then Brisbane, Melbourne… wow. The energy was truly something else!!! I hope you all enjoyed the AC/DC cover of “Thunderstruck” I had the idea of covering a short snippet of it during soundcheck. I was thinking “Which band is from Australia?” Hehe!!! This might be my new favourite piece 😍😍😍 I had the idea of ‘debuting’ this new idea at my last show in Australia. I have two days off in Melbourne and guess what I’ll be doing? hopefully seeing more kangaroos 🦘 and trying fairy bread 🍞✨ Also someone in the audience told me, to eat the corners of a Tim tam and then drink milk through it like a straw? not sure how that works but I’ll give it a go!!!! to everyone who came out to these Australian shows, two nights in Sydney, Brisbane, and Melbourne... thank you so so soooooo much 🙏🏻🙏🏻!!! Hellooooo from Sydney 🇦🇺🦘 sooo ever since I got to Australia I been feeling pretty inspired… so been writing a lot for my ‘next project’ no spoilers yet hehe... but yes I’ve been feeling creative so trying to spend more time at the piano!! Even though it’s a bit hard because Sydney (where I’m at currently) is super beautiful and hard to stay in doors, I’ve tried to stay as productive as I can!! this is a new kind of idea, where the main ‘theme’ repeats and eventually leads into the second melody.
