Prepare cake mix according to box directions in a domed cake pan or oven-safe bowl. Or, cut the dome off a cake layer. Let cool completely.⁠ ⁠ 2. Remove all foil from frosting tub. We’ll take a baker’s dozen!🥳⁠ ⁠ The full recipe is below!📩⁠ ⁠ You’ll need...⁠ 1 ¾ cup Funfetti Premium Cake & Cupcake Mix⁠ 3 cups Pillsbury All-Purpose Flour, plus more as needed⁠ 1 tub Funfetti Vanilla Flavored Frosting⁠ 2 ¼ teaspoons active dry yeast (1 package)⁠ 1 ¼ cup warm water⁠ ½ tsp salt⁠ ¼ cup baking soda⁠ 5 cups water (for boiling)⁠ ⁠ Directions:⁠ 1. Mix cake & cupcake mix with yeast, warm water, and salt until just combined. Knead in all-purpose flour until a dough ball forms, adding more as needed. Cover and let sit at room temperature for 1 hour or until doubled.⁠ ⁠ 2. Sprinkle flour onto a clean work surface. Punch down the dough and knead slightly to remove excess air bubbles. Divide dough into 12 balls. Using your finger, poke a hole in the center of each ball and gently stretch to increase the hole size.⁠ Let rise for 15 minutes.⁠ ⁠ 3. Boil 5 cups of water and slowly add baking soda. Slowly add 2-3 bagels to water at a time and boil for about 45 seconds on each side.⁠ ⁠ 4. ⁠Bake in a preheated 425℉ for 12-15 minutes or until golden.⁠ ⁠ 5. Prepare cake mix according to box instructions. ⁠ ⁠ 2. Spray a baking sheet pan with non-stick cooking spray. If desired, cut a piece of parchment paper to line the bottom of the sheet pan. Spray the parchment paper with non-stick cooking spray, for easy removal. Pour cake batter onto the baking sheet and spread evenly.⁠ ⁠ 3.
