His love language is definitely acts of service🥹🥲 he heard his little brother wake up and just went right into caring for him so we could “sleep in.” Kayson’s the one who keeps asking for more siblings lol and always asks to be the one to rock them to sleep, change the diapers, feed them, carry them in the baby carriers, all the parenting things lol. It just comes naturally to him🥲. He always talks about how he’ll be as a husband and dad, and I already know he’s going to be phenomenal at both. God put such a nurturing, loving spirit in him, it’s so beautiful to witness. Avery’s our 8 year old who is still trying to keep all the “second born tendencies” alive and well🤭 but we’re working on that lol. His love language is for sure all about having fun, quality time lol. Which were you growing up? The oldest responsible one, or the second born/younger one that prioritizes fun lol

I call them my STRENGTH-MARKS🥹 because they remind me of all I’ve endured to bring our children into the world. For the mamas out there, your body was the first home your babies ever had… be kind to it🥹🫶🏽 Know that you can feel both proud and vulnerable about the changes in your body. Proof that God cares about the little details😭! This is what it looks like when we live a life fully surrendered to God and let Him have His way in our lives. 8 years ago, it wasn’t just Sean and I at that altar, we met God there and surrendered our union to Him.. and moments like this is how He shows up and reminds us that He is for us, and will never leave us or forsake us. [Deut. 31:8] God is so, so sweet y’all😭. Sometimes we can prioritize seeking to experience Him as our healer, provider, way maker, the one who fights our battles, the one who redeems, but I pray you also pay attention to the ways He shows up as a sweet, loving Father to you🥹🫶🏽. As a a parent who is always trying to surprise her kids in cute ways, I love how God always shows me that I get that quality from Him 🥲hehe, and how much moreee does he love to do it for me! I was picturing God telling Jesus and the angels, “look, look, look!! Look at how happy and grateful she is, I’m gunna do it again🤭.” And then did it the next day…anticipating my excitement lol. I literally fell to my knees in tears and in worship... Because Lord, you didn’t have to be SO SWEET😭!!! Whew, i love my God. He always does little things like this everyday, I’m just grateful to catch this moment on our security cameras lol. Replying to @daveynosabo the bible is the parenting class😅🫶🏽 One of the things I’m SO grateful God did, was save me and pull me out of the world right before I became a parent… because there is NO way I could do any of this without Him😭 My kids are nowhere near perfect, but they really are some amazing men we’re raising and it’s only because of Jesus leading us every step of the way. They’re only kids for a small portion of their lives and will be husbands and fathers for most of their years. So, we parent from that perspective, to prepare them for those roles and to be the best husband, father, leader and friend that reflects Christ. And we have sooo much fun while doing it. This is my RICH.🥹💕 Raising up boys who LOVE Jesus with all of their hearts, who know the power of prayer and the word of God, boys who can’t wait to be husbands and love their wives like their dad loves me, and boys who can’t wait to have a “dozen” kids, like the always say lol. When God reveals the things they’re struggling with, we help them through it through the lens of them as future men, not little boys. We help them overcome it now, so they can be the best versions of themselves as adults, for God, their wives, their children, and everyone around them. It’s not always easy, and whew does God use parenting to shine a light and expose the unhealed parts of myself😮‍💨… But it’s the greatest gift to get to do this, not only with @Cru Alxndr , but with God.
