The bus came to us second hand and we are so grateful that we were able use it for this long. It would be so amazing to get a new bus for the school and help as many as possible with it.

We would like to provide the following updates regarding the recent developments after the passing of the late Dora Moono Nyambe: 1. Postmortem Results: We await the family to issue a statement on the matter relating to the post mortem which was conducted. 2. Social Media Management: Dora’s social media accounts are now being managed by her organisation, Footprints of Hope. Any communication through these platforms, including her emails, should be regarded as official and representative of the organisation. 3. Facebook Page Access: At this time, we have not been able to gain access to Dora’s Facebook page. Initially, it was assumed that those were scheduled posts, but it’s clear that there is someone behind it and they wouldn’t hand over the page to us. We have since reported this to Facebook and we hope they can act on suspending it right away. Phone Communication: Dora’s phone, including calls, SMSs and WhatsApp, will no longer be used for any form of communication. 5. Before we had even had time to process the immense tragedy of Dora's passing, we were confronted with some harsh realities. Of utmost importance was the safety and security of the kids. There has been a lot of activity behind the scenes in which we have seen both the best and the worst of humanity. We have seen incredible people step up to help, but we have also seen those that wish to exploit this tragedy. There are many people claiming to be fundraising for Dora. We can not speak to the veracity of any these claims, but we can assure you that the host of this GoFundMe (https://gofund.me/5af0d2f1) and Beast Philanthropy have both acted as trusted stewards of previous and ongoing campaigns for Dora and Footprints of Hope.
