I spent a good deal of my life “not doing much”, mostly working and existing in a small world that contained few people and little in the way of what some would call ambition. The jobs ranged from construction, to roofing to landscaping and factory work. Simple living, and I’m grateful for the opportunities I had to work hard and earn my way in “normal” settings. Then 7 years ago I joined my friend’s band called ARCHERS, mostly out of boredom, and that little band has played a key role in changing my life. I never would have got into social media, I never would have toured, I never would have had any of the ridiculous experiences I’ve had since becoming a full-time musician over the last 2 years. 2024 has been an incredible year. The guys in ARCHERS and I had an awesome tour with Asking Alexandria, Memphis Mayfire and The Word Alive, we gained milestones in streams and shows played, Arankai developed to new heights - and I got the opportunity to meet some of the kindest people I’ve ever known. To top it all off as my single greatest achievement…I got married to my lovely lady Leigh ❤️ If I’ve learned anything at all over the years, this year in particular, it is the value of patience. Everything comes in time, your focus should be better spent on being ready. Ready for growth, challenges, successes, failures. 2025 will be interesting, and I will wait with patience (albeit tested) to see what comes next. I’ll see you soon 🫶
