Point and case, wave the flag that you want to wave, just know that in battles like this, strategy is very important, and you know sure as shit. The one thing they don’t want is a united front of people, waving American flags and representing American ideals.

Existence is splintering, fracturing and segmenting, and I am left to compartmentalize my life. I either have to engage with the horrors and failures of my disgraced fellow citizens, or I have to immerse myself in the moment with friends or my fiancé, and try to ignore the relentless gnashing thought that so many don’t have that luxury. I am left to wrestle with the guilt of trying to carve out space for my own happiness, for my own mental health. And what can I do? I can protest, for now. I can advocate in person to anyone willing to listen, but what I am trying to do is use my modest platform and the things I enjoy, making content, modeling, writing and talking, and add my small contribution in the way that I can. It may seem like such a small cut, a minuscule knick that barely makes a scratch, but it does make a scratch. The expression…something by 1000 cuts comes to mind. Ultimately, I speak to let others know, we aren’t alone in this, we aren’t the minority, and we will win this fight. I choose to dream of a world where this all ends, and those masked cowards are dragged into the light, and you may say it’s just a dream, but dreams are only dreams, until they are plans.
