Where’d all the time go?🫶🏻 I remember when she was a baby, someone told me to not anticipate the “terrible twos / threenager” stage and just enjoy the phases. It was great advice. I can genuinely say I’ve loved every single developmental stage .. we obviously have tough times, but it’s so fun to watch them learn and grow. I try to think of hard moments as emotional/ exhausted moments instead of temper tantrums, and argumentative/ defiant moments as them learning to stand their ground as a human and an opportunity for me to teach them how to do it respectfully. Been a lot of trial and error and I’m still learning, but mannnn it’s been fun too.
I’m hesitant to even call this a hack because it’s the most basic, obvious thing 😂 Obviously she has seen us spit out foam, and when I’ve brushed her teeth for her there’s been foam… but for some reason, when I drew attention to the fact that she’s MAKING the foam by brushing. Game changer! #momhack
Go Swavekkkk, it’s yo birthday 🎈 We love you soooo much! This is probably our 3rd year of the Dollarama gift tradition. It’s been so fun to see what the girls pick out each year. No lady bug helmets this time 😂
I talked a little in my stories about the @Prenuvo full body MRI that Swav and I had done and I had a tonne of you asking me about the process, so I figured I would make a little video for you showing our experience. Swav and I have both struggled with anxiety for as long as we can remember. There are a few reasons behind why we wanted to get this done. For Swav, he very sadly lost his dad to cancer when he was only 32 years old. As you can imagine, this was traumatizing for him, and often when he has a health issue he wonders if it’s something deeper. I also have a family history of cancer and MS, and I struggle with the same thoughts. This year was particularly mentally and physically tough for me. Our Prenuvo scan was a great experience. Everyone made us feel so comfortable and cared for, and afterward it was really cool to learn all of these things about our bodies! We were given a tonne of helpful information and were there a few discoveries that are very good for us to know. A few things we need to figure out with our doctors. But overall, this has given us so much peace of mind. If you’d like to get a scan, they gave me a friends and family code for $300 off :) If you head to prenuvo.com/KARALEA the discount will be auto applied at checkout. 🫶🏻
The end 💀 A dash of sentimental and a touch of humour hahah. But in all seriousness, I am forever grateful that my grandparents are still around to see my kids grow up. Very very blessed. 🫶🏻
