one pot miso gochujang pasta~ hot cheesy noodles are the epitome of self care 💆🏻♀️ recipe: 1 tbsp butter 3 minced garlic cloves 1 cup pasta (short/small pasta works best) 2–2.5 cups chicken broth 1/4 cup heavy cream 1 tbsp miso paste 1 tbsp gochujang 1/2 to 1 tsp soy sauce (adjust based on broth saltiness) 1/2 tsp black pepper 1/3 cup parmesan cheese 1. add melted butter, garlic, pasta, broth, heavy cream, miso, gochujang, soy sauce, and black pepper to a skillet. simmer until the pasta is cooked and the liquid reduces. if the pasta soaks up too much liquid before it's fully cooked, add more as needed. 2. once the majority of the liquid has reduced, turn off the heat and stir in parmesan, then mix until creamy. 3. serve and enjoy 🫶🏼 #gochujangpasta #koreanfood #pastarecipe #onepotmeals #onepot

ingredients: for the beef pepper rice: - 8 oz beef chuck roll, thinly sliced - 420g cooked white rice (about 2 cups) - 3-5 tbsp corn (adjust to taste) - 2 tbsp chopped green onions - 1/3 large onion, thinly sliced - 1 tsp cooking oil - 1 tbsp butter, divided in two for the sauce: - 4 tbsp light soy sauce - 3 tbsp honey - 1 tbsp oyster sauce - 1/2 tsp garlic powder - 1/2 tsp onion powder - 1/4 tsp black pepper instructions: prepare the sauce: in a small bowl, mix light soy sauce, honey, oyster sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper. set aside. heat the pan: in a cast iron skillet or non-stick pan over medium-high heat, add cooking oil. sauté the onions: add sliced onions to the pan and sauté until soft and slightly golden. push them to the sides of the pan. assemble the dish: melt 1/2 tbsp butter in the center of the pan, then add the cooked rice. arrange thinly sliced beef on top of the sautéed onions around the rice. sprinkle corn and chopped green onions over the rice. add the remaining butter on top of the rice. add the sauce: pour the prepared pepper sauce evenly over the beef and rice. add 1/2 of the sauce and more later to taste. cook and mix: let everything cook undisturbed for a couple of minutes, allowing the beef to partially cook. then, stir everything together, ensuring the butter and sauce coat the rice and beef evenly. serve immediately: enjoy while hot, straight from the pan. add more black pepper to taste. #beefpepperrice #pepperlunch #japanesefood #EasyRecipe
the most expensive sandwich in 🇺🇸 decided to treat myself to a japanese tamago sando (egg salad sandwich) on garlic bread today 🍳 ingredients egg salad - 4 hard-boiled eggs - 2 soft-boiled eggs - 3 tbsp japanese mayo - 1/4 tsp sugar - 1/4 tsp salt - 1/8 tsp pepper (white or black pepper) garlic butter (for bread) - optional - 2 tbsp butter - 2 cloves garlic, minced - sprinkle of salt and pepper - sprinkle of parsley - 4 slices of soft white bread (or milk bread for the most authentic version) boil the eggs: - fill a pot with water (covering 2/3 of the eggs) and bring to a boil. - add eggs, cover, and cook: 5 mins for runny yolks, 6 mins for jammy, 10 mins for hard-boiled. - transfer to an ice bath, cool, then peel. make the egg salad: - mash hard-boiled yolks with japanese mayo, sugar, salt, and pepper. - chop the egg whites and mix them in. garlic butter bread (optional): - microwave butter, garlic, salt, pepper, and parsley. - spread on bread and toast until golden. assemble: - spread egg salad on bread, place a soft-boiled egg in the center, cover with more egg salad, and top with another slice. - slice and enjoy!
