Forever grateful for all the love and support I received earlier this year when Shelley passed and I kept so many kind messages, but the slight hate I got dismissing my friendship and trivializing my grieving hurt in the moment. More empathy even from strangers would have been nice. And Shelley was a true friend. Period. Still mourning a friend but also mourning an essential part of 70s/80s cinema, Shelley Duvall who we lost on July 11, 2024. That date still doesn’t feel real to me when she’s alive in my head. Following Shelley’s death, I quickly realized the importance of my archive page in continuing on her legacy and keeping her memory alive – this will forever be my purpose. I’m so blessed to have had a solid support system of fellow fans & friends and 2025 is simply a new chapter of my relationship with Shelley.
