Roasted Garlic: 2 whole bulbs of garlic 2 tbsp olive oil Salt Preheat the oven to 180°C. Slice the top off the whole garlic bulbs to expose the cloves, drizzle with olive oil, season with salt, wrap in foil, and roast for 30-45 minutes until soft and caramelised. Squeeze the roasted garlic out of the skins once they are cool enough to handle. Compound Butter: 2 whole garlic bulbs, roasted, cloves only 250g unsalted butter, softened 1 tsp each: garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, ½ tsp salt 3 tbsp chopped parsley Combine all the ingredients to make the compound butter. Incorporate well using a spatula. The rest: 1 White Breadstick from Bakers Delight 250g cheddar, sliced into small 3x5cm rectangles Cut the breadstick crosswise 3cm apart, being careful not to cut all the way through. Gently pry open the slits in the breadstick and spread the butter mixture evenly into all the crevices. Fill the slits with cheese. Brush the outside with compound butter. Place the breadstick on a lined baking tray with foil. Roast for 10-15 minutes until the cheese has melted.
