The fact that Millie just tolerates him is kind of amazing

Pretzel is a low drive, high arousal dog. That means he is super excitable but not very driven. Our training is a balancing act of motivating him enough to work with me while keeping his arousal at a level where he can think clearly. I have to be able to amp him up and bring him back down without losing him. It’s not easy! But teaching him active and cooperative ways to deal with his frustration when it gets over the top helps me calm him down without losing connection OR motivation. #DogTraining #forcefreedogtraining #englishshepherd

He loves to press buttons but he’s good at handling the fall out so 😂 he’s the one and only friend to a lot of dog selective dogs. he’s not afraid to initiate play with them but he’s also very aware of when they switch to ~definitely not playing around~ and how to diffuse. #dogbodylanguage
